The ship’s main lighting system is also called the normal lighting system. It is distributed in various living and working places inside and outside the ship, providing sufficient illumination for each cabin and workplace. Normal lighting is the main lighting of the entire ship. It is powered by the ship’s main generator, and directly supplies power to each lighting distribution box through the lighting bus on the main distribution board, and then the lighting distribution box supplies power to the lighting fixtures in the adjacent cabins or areas. Normal lighting includes:
1. Main cabin lighting, such as most of the ceiling lights;
2. Local or auxiliary lighting, such as bed lights, wall lights, washbasin lights, etc.;
3. Strong light lighting for loading and unloading;
4. More than half of the lighting in indoor and outdoor corridors.
